WVYWA BELT QUALIFIER TOURNAMENT
Location: Parkersburg High School, Field House, 2101 Dudley Avenue, Parkersburg WV, 26101
Entry Fee: $30.00 Mail-ins, Online Registration, Email. NO WALK-INS. NO ADDITIONAL WEIGHT CLASSES.
Admission: $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children (under 3 free).
Split Session: 4U, 8U, and 12U Morning Session; 6U and 10U Afternoon Session
Start Time: Morning Session 10:00 AM and Afternoon Session 1:00 PM
Scratch meeting, if needed, will start at approximately 1 hour prior to session start time.
Weigh-Ins: Early weigh-ins are on Friday 12/15 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Cougar Wrestling Room (old McKinley Elementary School Gym) located at 1130 19th street, Parkersburg, WV 26101
Weigh-ins the day of the tournament will be at the Parkersburg High School Field House
Morning Session 6:30am – 8:00am and Afternoon Session 10:30am – 12:00pm.
Rules: Modified high school rules, 3 one-minute periods. Sudden Death Overtime, Double Elimination for weight classes. Five or less competitors will be a round robin. We reserve the right to combine weight classes to maximize competition.
Awards: Each Champion will receive a Champion hat and T-shirt that will be made on site at the tournament. 2nd through 4th place will receive awards.
As Always there will be the World-Famous Cougar Hospitality Room for Coaches and Referees!
Registration: All forms must be postmarked by Tuesday, December 12th. Emails and digital registrations will be accepted until Thursday, December 14th by 10:00PM.
